It creates a three-dimensional sound stage and brings out accurate timbre. The kit combines a cast-aluminium-basket midrange with a 29 mm Tetolon dome tweeter and a dedicated crossover, using Plug & Play connectors for a direct-fit install. It handles 50W continuous (RMS) and 100W peak power at 4Ω.

Key Features

100 mm (4") midrange with a water-repellent pressed-paper cone and a 25 mm fiberglass voice coil

29 mm (1.1") Tetolon dome tweeter with dispersion optimized for off-axis output

Power handling of 50W continuous / 100W peak, 4Ω, 89 dB sensitivity, 90 Hz – 23 kHz response

Dedicated crossover with a 6 kHz high-pass (6 dB/octave) and a -3 dB / 0 dB tweeter adjustment

BMW-MINI compatible die-cast aluminium basket with Plug & Play connectors and a neodymium magnet group

Tweeter support supplied for Plug & Play OEM placements, and a damping removable motor cover

Technical Highlights

The midrange has a low resonance frequency, which allows a high-pass cut-off in the 150–200 Hz range for good mid-low reproduction. Xmax is ±0.5 mm. The woofer weighs about 0.43 kg and the tweeter about 0.06 kg.
