The Morel Maximo Ultra Coax 6.5" speakers deliver the performance and sound quality you expect from Morel, but they require less power and they are at a more affordable price point. These are actually my favorite speakers from Morel and I like the sound of these over the more expensive Tempo series because I like my music bright, with crisp, clear highs.

These Maximo Ultra Coax 602 MKI speakers sound really nice thanks to the specially treat paper cone and computer modeled suspension which ensures linear output for great mid-range response without distortion. If you are looking for a step-up speaker, but you don't want to spend a ton on an amplifier, these 6.5" speakers are the way to go. They can still handle 100 watts RMS which is more than most amplifiers put out yet they are efficient enough to still work off of deck power.

From a performance and specs standpoint, as we stated above, these speakers can handle up to 80W RMS and are very efficient with a sensitivity rating at 91dB at 2.83V/1M. These 6.5s are perfect for door speakers, but they are too deep to fit in our classic car kick panels.
