An underseat active subwoofer is a speaker that is designed to reproduce low-frequency bass signals. Most subwoofers are relatively large, but underseat designs have a small and slim enclosure to be fixed under the car seat. Active means need not to attach amplifier separately as most of them have inbuilt amplifier.
