Audison Forza AF M8.14 bit 8-Channel DSP Amplifier — 8 x 90W @ 4Ω, 8 x 140W @ 2Ω with 14-Channel Hi-Res DSP
The Audison Forza AF M8.14 bit is an 8-channel Class D amplifier with a built-in 14-channel DSP, built for clean OEM integration and high-power active systems. Eight amplified channels deliver 90W x 8 @ 4Ω and 140W x 8 @ 2Ω (RMS, 14.4 VDC, 1% THD, all channels driven), and bridging channel pairs gives 280W x 4 @ 4Ω. The native 24-bit/96 kHz DSP extends the audio band to 40 kHz, and six processed pre-outs let it drive companion amplifiers in a larger system.
Key Features
- 8 amplified channels: 90W x 8 @ 4Ω / 140W x 8 @ 2Ω, or 280W x 4 @ 4Ω when bridged
- Native 24-bit/96 kHz DSP with up to 14 output channels (8 amplified + 6 optional pre-outs)
- 6 processed DSP pre-outs (5V RMS) to expand the system with companion amplifiers
- Latest-generation Audison D-Class (ADT) technology
- 8 analog inputs plus an optical S/PDIF digital input; the optional F2O card adds a second optical/coaxial input
- Supports Audison B-CON Absolute Volume and bit Drive software tuning
Power and Technical Highlights
The DSP is built around the Analog Devices ADAU1467 automotive-qualified processor. The bit Drive software combines Audison's de-EQ with de-Time and de-Phase processing and analyses the electrical signal on each input channel to help with integration and correction. Maximum current draw is around 55 A at 14.4 VDC (2Ω, max musical power). The amplifier does not include a remote control; the optional DRC AC compact remote is available separately.
Ideal For / System Fit
- Active 3-way or multi-speaker systems that need eight channels of clean power
- OEM integration, taking the factory signal into the amplifier's analog or digital inputs
- Systems built to expand later, using the DSP outputs to feed Forza companion amplifiers
Not a plug-and-play unit: it needs setup and tuning with the bit Drive PC software, and professional installation is recommended.
Installation Note
The chassis measures 240 x 47 x 156 mm (9.44 x 1.85 x 6.14 in). The AF M8.14 bit comes with six cables, including a Pre-In cable with 8 stereo RCA connections for aftermarket sources and a DSP-Out cable with 6 labelled leads to connect companion amplifiers.
What's Included
1 x Audison Forza AF M8.14 bit amplifier with supplied cable set (six cables)
Precautions
- Power ratings are measured at 14.4 VDC, 1% THD, all channels driven; real output depends on the vehicle's electrical system
- Match speakers and wiring to the rated impedances to avoid overload
- Professional installation with proper fusing, grounding and wiring is strongly recommended
- The DSP must be tuned for best results; the amplifier does not include a remote control
